Harrisburg-area Rep. Scott Perry was not among the handful of Republicans who sided with Democrats on Thursday’s Affordable Care Act vote, as the issue starts to shape up as the first big dividing line in Congress for the new year.

The U.S. House of Representatives voted Thursday afternoon in favor of a three-year extension of the additional ACA insurance subsidies that were authorized during the COVID-19 pandemic, but which had been allowed to lapse at the end of last year.
